PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit which enables improvement of followability of a nozzle surface to a surface of a medium, and to provide a liquid discharge device.SOLUTION: A head unit includes: a head 22 having a nozzle surface 22a on which a nozzle for discharging a liquid is formed; a carriage 23 having a facing surface 23a facing a T-shirt and to which the head 22 is attached; an actuator 41 which changes inclination of the nozzle surface 22a relative to the facing surface 23a; and a control part which controls driving of the actuator 41 so that a distance between the T-shirt and the nozzle surface 22a fits in a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
