SOLUTION: Provided is a cyclic organosiloxane containing epoxy groups represented by formula (1). (Ris an alkyl group or an aryl group; Ris a hydrogen atom or halogen atom, or an alkyl group which may contain a substituent selected from a vinyl group, an epoxy group, a thiirane group, a (meth)acryl group, a mercapto group, an iso(thio)cyanate group, a hydrolyzable silyl group, a succinic anhydride group, a perfluoroalkyl group, a polyether group, and a perfluoropolyether group, of which there are one or more Rhaving a hydrolyzable silyl group as a substituent and two or more Rhaving an epoxy group as a substituent; and n is an integer from 3 to 6.)EFFECT: To provide a cyclic organosiloxane that contains two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, and therefore, when a composition is prepared with compounds having organic groups having reactivity with the functional group, shows excellent reactivity with the compounds, and because it does not contain a polymer, it has excellent compatibility with other organic resins and therefore exhibits a function as a binder; also contains a hydrolyzable silyl group, and therefore an effect as a silane coupling agent can be expected.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
