PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of encouraging a user to make an inquiry to a maker at a timing required for maintenance/inspection.SOLUTION: A water heater includes a hot water supply portion constituted to supply hot water to a tapping part, a control portion for controlling an operation state of the hot water supply portion, and an operation portion capable of inputting a command given to the control portion by user's operation. The operation portion is provided with a display portion capable of displaying information, and the control portion has a determination portion (S13) for determining whether the hot water supply portion reaches a long-period use state where it is used for a prescribed long period or more, or not, and a display state changing portion (S17, S21, S27, S29) for changing the display state of the information to be displayed on the display portion between a case when the determination portion determines the long-period use state has not been attained yet and a case when it determines the long-period use state has been attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
