PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of emission at restart time of an internal combustion engine in an intermittent operation.SOLUTION: A control device (21) for internal combustion engine is the control device for an internal combustion engine (1) having: a plurality of cylinders (14); an intake passage (12) connected to each of the plurality of cylinders; a plurality of fuel injection valves (15) provided at the intake passage and corresponding to each of the plurality of cylinders. The control device for internal combustion engine includes correction means (21) for correcting a fuel injection amount of each of the plurality of fuel injection valves when starting the internal combustion engine in an intermittent operation in which an operation and pause of the internal combustion engine are repeated alternately. The correction means corrects the fuel injection amount of each of the plurality of fuel injection valves so that the fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve corresponding to the cylinder in which an intake valve is opened out of the plurality of cylinders becomes smaller than the fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve corresponding to the cylinder in which the intake valve is closed out of the plurality of cylinders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
