PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce gas hydrate at a low cost.SOLUTION: A gas hydrate production apparatus 100 comprises: a cooling part 120 that cools raw material water; a hydrate producing part 140 that includes at least a gas-liquid mixing part 142 mixing raw material gas supplied from a gas supply source with the cooled raw material water and produces gas hydrate including at least one kind of gas in the raw material gas as a guest substance; a separation part 150 that separates unreacted gas from a mixture comprising the gas hydrate, unreacted gas, and the raw material water, which is generated as a result of the production of the gas hydrate in the hydrate producing part; and an absorption part 170 that generates gas-absorbed water by absorbing at least gas serving as a guest substance in the unreacted gas separated by the separation part.
