A cap assembly (10) for a vehicular diesel exhaust treatment fluid tank having a main body (12) defining an enclosure (30), a filter housed within the enclosure (30) and a removable cap for selectively closing a filling opening defining a fluid inlet (18) into the enclosure (30). A filter retaining formation (56) allows the filter to be selectively removed from the enclosure (30), an outlet opening is for connection to an inlet of a vehicle fluid tank, in use. Lockable engagement means is provided for selectively actuating the cap assembly (10) between a first configuration in which the cap assembly (10) is removable from the inlet of the vehicle fluid tank, and a second configuration in which the cap assembly (10) is engaged with the inlet of the vehicle fluid tank, such that the cap assembly (10) remains engaged with the vehicle fluid tank inlet whilst the cap is selectively removable for filling of the tank. |
