<p>PURPOSE: To provide a system with which considerably large quantities of data can be efficiently transmitted at one time. CONSTITUTION: A known system having a transceiver device (such as radio telephone or walkie-talkie) 1 for transmission/reception of speech information through a speech channel 5 by radio just can transmit/receive a short data message through a cell channel 4, and switching means 10 and 12 at the transceiver device determine the channel to connect the transceiver device. Since the system is expanded by a MODEM 2, as a result, a lot of data can be transmitted/received through the speech channel and by triggering the switching means from the MODEM, the efficiency of system is improved.</p> |
