KEYBOARD MUSICAL INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To provides a keyboard musical instrument which makes it possible to obtain a good key touch feeling at the time of both of ordinary playing and non-striking playing and is commonly usable for pianos varying in section divisions of hammer rows of action and pitches of individual rows and to prevent the disconnection of this cord-like member. CONSTITUTION:A hammer assembly 14 and a turning shaft 43 are connected by the cord-like member 42. The length (slackening amt.) of the cord-like member 42 changes to change over the instrument to the ordinary playing or the non-striking playing when this turning shaft 43 is turned by a switching means 45. The cord-like member 42 is fixed adjustably in movement in a lateral direction and adjustably in length by an adjusting means 44 relative to the turning shaft 43 and is thereby made mountable commonly to various kinds of the pianos without depending on the pitch of the action divisions. A buffer member 62 which absorbs part of the striking energy of the hammer at the time of the non-striking playing is disposed at the turning shaft 43.
