<p>PURPOSE: To expand the range of application while canceling the limit of integrated circuit network exchange by matching a peripheral equipment shelf, switching memory and various conveyance media through an interface. CONSTITUTION: A peripheral equipment card 51 is connected to a port group bus 52 coupled so as to form a port group cable 54, and the respective port group cables 54 are connected to a peripheral shelf link interface unit (PSLI) 55 for facilitating general-purpose shelf architecture by applying flexibility to the conveyance media. Each PSLI performs matching while being linked with a peripheral equipment interface unit (PIU) 56 arranged at a common controller through the selected conveyance medium. Thus, the PSLI 55 promotes the flexibility of conveyance medium and the socket type insertion performance of 64 ports, redundant loop performance and compatibility with a telephone set interface unit card shelf can be provided.</p> |
