<p>PURPOSE:To provide an automobile headlamp with a tilt measuring device which facilitates the turning operation of an aiming screw. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 4 is tilted in a horizontal direction relative to a lamp body 2 by a turning quantity of a screw 20 to adjust the irradiation angle of the horizontal direction of a lamp. A backward extending external thread part 20a is provided in the screw 20, and a guide member 60 extending in parallel to the external thread part 20a is provided in the lamp body 2. A tilt measuring device composed of a nut member 50 moving back and forth along the guide member 60 interlocking with the rotation of the external thread part 20a and the screwed screw 20, a cursor 74 provided in the nut member 50 and linear graduations provided in the guide member 60 is provided between the external thread part 20a and the guide member 60. A crown-like gear 23 engaged with the tip of tooth of a screwdriver extended in the direction of perpendicularly crossing the screw 20 is provided in the base position of the external thread part 20a to facilitate the turning operation of the aiming screw 20.</p> |
