PURPOSE: To provide a molded article of an automobile, or the like, on which a high quality decorative paint finish such as a base coat/clear coat paint finish which can be used for plastic molded automobile body panels, is inexpensive in a coating step and is almost free from the exhaust gas control problem is given, and to provide a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The molded article 30 is formed of a supporting substrate 31 having a molded outer surface and a decorative sheet material 10 which is adhered on one side of the supporting substrate so as to fit the molded outer surface. This molded article is suitable for the outer automobile body parts such as panels and a bumper body. The decorative sheet material includes reflective flakes such as alminium flakes, mica flakes, and the like. |
