METHOD FOR WELDING BIMETAL SHEETS

A method for welding bimetal sheets includes preparation of edges and welding thereof. Moreover welding is carried out in four passes, at that the first and second passes are performed at feeding one wire and the third and forth passes are performed at feeding two wires simultaneously, the forth pass is carried out with two wires with applying voltage on one of them, at that distance between edges of clad welded sheets l is selected depending on the thickness of bimetal α from the following interval: l=α±2 mm, at acute angle of preparation of edges of clad plates. Implementation of the utility model allows to exclude application of heat treatment of the welded parts and as a result to obtain full strength weld of high mechanical and operational properties.
