Disclosed is a device (10) for producing cross-finned pipes, which exhibits molding cheek halves (12) lying adjacent to each other on a common molding segment with front faces (14, 16) and forming a molding channel (18) inbetween the latter. Each molding cheek half (12) exhibits vacuum channels (20), which are in fluidic connection with the molding channel (18). Each molding cheek half (12) is also configured with a cooling channel (22). The front faces (14) of the molding cheek halves (12) are configured with vacuum connection grooves (66), which form vacuum connection channels (24) along the common molding segment. The vacuum connection channels (24) are in fluidic connection with a stationary vacuum strip (34) along the common molding segment of the device (10). The cooling channels (22) of the molding cheek halves (12) are in fluidic connection with a stationary coolant strip (44) along the common molding segment, said coolant strip having a coolant inlet (60) and a coolant outlet (62).
