A method for the treatment of viral diseases, particularly that caused by AIDS virus, and more particularly HIV-1, in a mammal, which method comprises administering to the mammal having the virus a therapeutic, effective amount of a human antispermatozoal antibody, or monoclonal antibodies derived therefrom, used alone or in combination with plasma, serum or purified immunoglobulin, and combinations thereof. |
