PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improved rewriting property with a thermal head, and obtain a clear image or transparency, displaying a well contrastive image, even when heating is repeated. SOLUTION: In this recording material, display and erasure of a visible image is possible by a method wherein an organic low molecular compound is blended under a dispersed state with a resin matrix, such as a copolymer of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate, and the transparency of the compound is changed reversibly by a temperature. In this case, the average grain size of the group of particles of the organic low molecular compound under the dispersed state is in the range of 0.8-2.00 μm, and particles having the average grain size is not less than 60% of the number of the grains of the whole organic low molecular compounds. |
