PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol resin molding material excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability, moldability and the like, and excellent particularly in the mechanical strengths at ordinary temperature and in a hot state. SOLUTION: The molding material contains a phenol resin, a polyoxymethylene and a reinforcing material respectively in amounts of 25-60 wt.%, 1-10 wt.% and 25-65 wt.% based on the whole molding material. It is desirable that the reinforcing material comprises glass fibers and that the phenol resin comprises a novolak phenol resin.
