PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet stopper device capable of surely stopping even a pallet on which a heavy material is placed, simply retransferring, and making compact. SOLUTION: A piston rod 8 is pushed out by operating an air cylinder 7, and a wedge member 3 is inserted between a stopper 4 and a guide member 2. Since an inclined part 3a is formed in the wedge member 3, the wedge member 3 is smoothly inserted with no resistance. By this operation, the upper end of a hook part 4a is pushed out upward than the lower end of a conveying pallet P which is a stopping object. Therefore, when the conveying pallet P strikes against a protecting plate 4b, the conveying pallet P is stopped.
