<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized-layer-type jet mill which has ease of cleaning while retaining the crushing performance and reduced contaminability of the fluidized-layer-type jet mill, allows fabrication with various materials facilitating adhesion- and wear-proofing measures and uses a classifying mechanism having no movable part. <P>SOLUTION: In a crushing-classifying casing 10, there are formed a crushing portion 20 in which two or more jet nozzles 22 are arranged toward the central part of the casing 10 in the lower part of the casing 10 and a classifying portion 30 which is provided with a swirling flow generator 40 including a louver 44 causing a flowing-out air current to form a swirling flow and an outer peripheral opening 32 and an opening 84 formed in the ceiling.
