PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile device capable of eliminating the redundancy of T.30 when transport is a TCP. SOLUTION: The network facsimile device can execute facsimile communication in compliance with the recommendation T.38 via a LAN control unit 9, a LAN, and a wide area network for data communication. When a counter part side is a facsimile communication device corresponding to the T.38 and the transport of data communication is the TCP in a call connection procedure, and when communication control units 8 at both sides for receiving and transmitting image information transmits an NSF signal and an NSS signal that are T.30 frames via an LAN control part 9, the communication control unit sets to the NSF signal that the transmission is executable by a transmission control procedure different from a transmission control specified at the T.30 recommendation, and also negotiates with the NSF signal for setting the execution to the NSS signal.
