SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECONDARY FUEL INJECTION FROM FIRST STAGE NOZZLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary combustion system 100 for the first stage nozzle 110. SOLUTION: This secondary combustion system 100 includes: a supply pipe 170 extending into the first stage nozzle 110; some injectors 180 extending from the supply pipe 170 to an outer surface 155 of the first stage nozzle 110; and voids 200 surrounding each of some injectors 180. The method for eliminating NOx emission in a gas turbine comprisess steps of: forming a high temperature gas stream by burning a primary fuel stream and a primary air stream; making the high temperature gas stream flow toward a plurality of the first stage nozzles; making a secondary fuel stream and a secondary air stream flow from the plurality of the first stage nozzles; and decreasing the temperature of the high temperature gas stream by burning the secondary fuel stream and the secondary air stream.
