PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring clutch device for achieving a stable drive transmission, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: The spring clutch device 64 comprises a driving member 66 having a first roller face 72, a driven member 68 having a second roller face 74 in opposition to the axial direction of the driving member 66, and a coil spring 70 wound around the first roller face 72 and the second roller face 74.
