PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allergen-reducing composition efficiently reducing allergens derived from house dust, mites, pollens etc., in environments even under dry conditions and to provide an allergen-reducing filter material or sheet obtained by processing the allergen-reducing composition. SOLUTION: The allergen-reducing composition comprises an allergen-reducing substance composed of a water and/or an organic solvent extract from a seed or pericarp of a plant belonging to the genus Vitis of the family Vitaceae and a hygroscopic substance of inorganic salts etc., or formula (1).
