PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic suitable to a type of hair damaged and easily spread with stiffness, having both effects of totally setting the hair while suppressing spreading without hardening and of smoothing the hair without stickiness, and capable of keeping the effects for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic contains (A) a highly polymerized amino-modified silicone represented by general formula (1) (m and n are each an integer, and m+n is 3,000-20,000), (B-1) an alkylene oxide derivative represented by general formula (2) in which p and q are each 30 or greater, (B-2) an alkylene oxide derivative represented by general formula (2) in which p and q are each 29 or smaller, and (C) a cationic surfactant, provided that the formula (2) is R<SP>1</SP>O-(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>p</SB>(C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>O)<SB>q</SB>-R<SP>2</SP>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each an alkyl group, a glyceryl group, or a hydrogen atom, and p and q are each an integer of 1 or greater).
