Firstly, a threshold value c for judging a shot noise is set (?Dmax = c). Next, a calculation is performed to obtain an absolute value of a difference between an integration result An of the first half in one pixel inputted from D-FF2 and an integration result Bn of the latter half in one pixel inputted from D-FF1 (?D = |An - Bn|). The absolute value ?D is compared to the threshold value ?Dmax. If ?D < ?Dmax, it is judged that no shot noise is mixed and An + Bn is outputted as integration data on one pixel. On the other hand, if?D > ?Dmax, it is judged that shot noise is mixed during the integration period of a greater value and the smaller value is doubled and outputted as integration data on one pixel. This reduces the affect of the shot noise and increases the S/N ratio for image formation in a laser microscope.
|
