PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation synchronizer for synchronizing the processing of a plurality of applications without increasing any system loads, and to provide a method for controlling the simulation synchronizer. SOLUTION: The simulation synchronizer comprises: a plurality of applications that have inherent virtual time and operate independently; and a synchronization means for synchronizing the processing of each application to the virtual time of an entire system and relaying an event transmitted and received among applications. Also, the simulation synchronizer synchronizes the processing of all applications and synchronizes processing in applications at the transmission destination and source of an event to the event transmitted among specific applications.
