PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor whether or not any illegal operation is carried out while important information such as personal information is accessed for operation. SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a server 105 for managing personal information and a computer 108 operated by a user and capable of accessing the server. The server has a history management function 249 for managing the collection of a history related to the user's operation of the computer in relation to access requests from the computer for the personal information. The computer has a history acquisition function 229 for collecting the user's operating history according to a history acquisition request from the history management function.
