摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lithium iron sulfide (Li<SB>2</SB>FeS<SB>2</SB>) of a single phase in an XRD analysis and to provide a method for producing lithium transition metal sulfide of a single phase in an XRD analysis. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing lithium iron sulfide includes: a first process of mixing iron sulfide (a) and sulfur to obtain a mixture of iron sulfide (a) and sulfur and, subsequently, firing the mixture of iron sulfide (a) and sulfur in an inactive gas environment to obtain iron sulfide (b) which presents substantially a single phase in an X-ray diffraction analysis, having a composition ratio (Fe/S) of iron element to sulfur element, expressed in a molar ratio, of &ge;0.90 and <1.00; and a second process of mixing iron sulfide (b) and lithium sulfide to obtain a mixture of iron sulfide (b) and lithium sulfide and, subsequently, firing the mixture of iron sulfide (b) and lithium sulfide in an inactive gas environment to obtain lithium iron sulfide represented by Li<SB>2</SB>FeS<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
