PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curb luminance unevenness or color unevenness occurring upon pixel shift.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: a light source 30 that emits light; an image display unit 50 that has a DMD 551 forming an image by use of the light from the light source 30; an illumination optical system unit 40 that guides the light form the light source 30 to the image display unit 50; a projection optical system unit 60 that performs an enlargement projection of the image formed by the image display unit 50; and a movement control unit 12 that causes the DMD 551 to be periodically displaced between a first state serving as a prescribed position and a second state displaced from the first state. The illumination optical system unit 40 has a color wheel performing a time-division of the light from the light source 30, and the color wheel has an even color segment every 1/2 circle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
