PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device comprising a slide sheet that has excellent assemblability, and can suppresses an increase in slide resistance and prevent the occurrence of slip.SOLUTION: There is provided a fixing device comprising: a roller member 83 that is rotatably disposed; an endless belt 81 that is driven to rotate in contact with the roller member 83; a nip forming member 86 that is disposed inside the endless belt 81 and is in pressure contact with the roller member 83 with the endless belt 81 therebetween to form a nip part N; and a slide sheet 90 that is disposed between the nip forming member 86 and endless belt 81, where the slide sheet 90 is formed of a fabric that is woven by crossing warps and wefts, where one of the warps and wefts is exposed on a surface in a larger amount than the other; the normal direction with respect to the shortest straight line connecting intersections at which the warps and wefts intersect with each other is disposed to match with a direction on which a load is applied due to rotation of the endless belt 81.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
