PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and program with which it is possible to issue a request for help at an appropriate time without imposing a determination load on a checker.SOLUTION: The information processing device includes recording means, estimation means, and help request means. The recording means records, for each clerk in charge of at least registration of a checkout for registering an event to be settled and settling accounts, a time for prescribing each individual checkout in succession. The estimation means estimates a shortened limit value per clerk of a required time taken for at least part of the checkout on the basis of the time recorded by the recording means. The help request means successively compares the shortened limit value estimated by the estimation means and a value at the present point of time of the required time in accordance with a predetermined comparison rule, and when a state that requires a help request as defined by the comparison rule is reached, notifies prescribed information to inform the state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
