PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a damage amount of a subject which is taken as a damage by many people.SOLUTION: A damage amount calculation device (1) includes an article number specification part (14) for acquiring the number of newspaper articles after disaster occurrence, related to a subject having a relatively high frequency of appearance in a result of an inquiry for asking a subject which is taken as a damage by each person with respect to events occurring upon disaster, and a damage amount calculation part (15) for calculating a damage amount corresponding to the number of articles by using a correlation function showing correlation between the number of articles and the damage amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
