<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image display device enabling a user to freely skip to an image which he (she) wants to view during slide playback; an image display method for the image display device; and a program for making the image display device act as an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: Thumbnail images scheduled to be displayed hereafter are displayed side by side in a second area 1251 on the periphery of the image which is played back as a slide in a first display area 1250, and further a cursor 1252 is displayed on the thumbnail image at a specified position in the second display area. In response to frame feeding operation, the thumbnail image at the position where the cursor is displayed is successively changed, and also the image corresponding to the thumbnail image at the position where the cursor is displayed is displayed in the first display area 1250 according to the change of the thumbnail image. When the frame feeding operation is not performed, the image at the position where the cursor is displayed is set as the head and the images at and after that image are successively played back as the slides in the first display area 1250. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
