PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized lifeboat capable of saving life in the event of a tidal wave, which is structured to be easily transported so as to be installed even in a congested city area, has sufficient restoration capabilities if it should be overturned in the event of a tidal wave, and can stand on its own on the ground for a long period of time until an occurrence of a tidal wave.SOLUTION: The hull of a lifeboat is formed of FRP, and is of a size that can be accommodated in a 4-ton truck. A buffer material can be connected to the lifeboat easily, and the buffer material protects the hull against the collision with driftage in the event of a tidal wave. A steel frame 3 is provided to the bottom of the hull. The entire hull can be sufficiently supported by the frame even if the lifeboat stands on its own on the ground or on a rooftop for a long period of time, and not only that, the lifeboat can also be easily restored if it should be overturned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
