摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferroelectric ceramic material containing barium titanate as a main component which can control a Curie temperature in a wide range, has no phase transition in the vicinity of a room temperature, and exhibits excellent ferroelectric characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The ferroelectric ceramic material includes an oxide represented by formula: (100-a-b)BaTiO<SB>3</SB>-aBi<SB>2</SB>0<SB>3</SB>-bM<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, where M represents a trivalent metal other than Bi, and a and b satisfy 1&le;a&le;15, 0&le;b&le;5, 5&le;a+3b&le;15, and M is preferably a trivalent metal selected from fifth period transition metals or rare earth metals having an atomic number of 59 or higher to 69 or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
