PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system capable of reducing jitter due to crosstalk by a simple configuration, and to provide a transmitter and a jitter compensation method.SOLUTION: The transmission system comprises: a transmitter for transmitting a high speed data signal via a plurality of transmission lines; and a receiver for receiving the high speed data signal. The receiver has a phase comparison unit for detecting the fact that the phase difference of the high speed data signals, output from the adjoining transmission lines in the plurality of transmission lines, has gone below a predetermined value, and outputting a detection signal to the transmitter. The transmitter has a delay device which sets the delay time for respective high speed data signals being output to the plurality of transmission lines, and a delay control unit for setting the delay time of the delay device, when receiving the detection signal from the receiver, in the delay device. |
