The method involves transmitting a static object (SO1) from a transmitter of a data distribution service by a carousel transmission (KUE), and transmitting real-time data (RD) by a streaming transmission (SUE). A change object is formed based on information to be changed and a change rule indicated for implementing the change of the static object. The change object is transmitted by the streaming transmission to a receiver of the service, and is filtered from the streaming transmission in the receiver. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a transmitter in a data distribution service (2) a receiver in a data distribution service.
