PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood-type golf club head in which the catching of a ball is improved sufficiently in comparison with a conventional wood-type golf club head, and provide the wood-type golf club.SOLUTION: A wood-type golf club head 10 is provided for use in a driver. The wood-type golf club head includes a face part 1 having a ball-hitting surface 1A, a heel part 2 positioned in the end of the shaft side to the ball-hitting surface 1A, and a toe part 3 positioned in the opposite end of the heel part 2 to the ball-hitting surface 1A. The ratio of a maximum length L1 (unit: mm) of the wood-type golf club head 10 in the direction moving from the heel part 2 to the toe part 3 to a volume (unit: cm) of the wood-type golf club head 10 is 0.30 or more and 1.04 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
