<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the energy consumption of an exhaust gas discharge device to reduce the operation cost of a burner. <P>SOLUTION: The burner is equipped with: a regenerator arrangement having regenerators for recovering regenerative exhaust gas heat in order to heat combustion air while utilizing the exhaust gas heat, each regenerator having a regenerator channel through which one exhaust gas flow and one combustion air flow pass at least alternately; at least one air nozzle 7, 8 communicating with the regenerator arrangement to guide the heated combustion air into a space 3; and at least one bypass channel 27. A partial exhaust gas flow not passing through the regenerator channel is guided from the space 3 to the exhaust gas discharge device 6 through the bypass channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
