<p>PURPOSE:To improve image reading efficiency by providing a display control means for displaying a fetched image on respective display parts corresponding to the kind of the image discriminated by a discrimination means. CONSTITUTION:When an image reading doctor inputs a patient ID being an object whose image is read in an input device 10 and requires the display of a picture, the patient ID information and the requirement of the display of the picture are transmitted to an image discriminating means 4. The means 4 reads out corresponding image incidental information from a main memory 2. The means 4 discriminates the image based on the incidental information read out and transmits the notice of the finish to a CPU 11 by performing the switching action of a changeover switch 5. The CPU 11 transfers the content of an image memory 3 to display memories 7a and 7b. When it is the image data 'which has been already read' it is stored in the display memory 7a and continuously displayed on a TV monitor 9a through a D/A converter 8a.</p> |
