In use, the closed reservoir 1, which contains a specific quantity of a substance which is intended for the preparation of a drink by dissolution or extraction with a liquid, is placed in a liquid-holding component which comprises a frustoconical cup 9. The assembly formed in this way is placed in a housing 21 of a "spoon" of a coffee-maker. The top side of the reservoir 1 is perforated by a perforating and injection component which injects a pressurized liquid into the reservoir 1. The underlying membrane 2 of the reservoir is subjected to distortion by the action of the pressure produced in this way and is pressed against perforation points 13 on the bottom of the cup 9. The liquid flows into the housing 21 and can be collected in drinking cups. In this way, it is possible to optimize the contact time between the substance which is present in the reservoir and the liquid which is supplied for its dissolution or extraction.
