The ventilation arrangement includes an electric-powered and/or electronically controlled fan (5) which is installed at a connecting point between an interior air and an outside air. The fan is controlled through a carbon dioxide sensor (8) which is located directly in the flow area of the fan. The carbon dioxide sensor operates preferably according to an infrared absorption method, and is arranged in the intake of the fan, whereby the fan pumps carbon dioxide-rich air from the interior towards the exterior.
