PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a load on an operator by achieving improvement of an operating property by fitting a simple automatically adjusting clutch. SOLUTION: A drilling device 1 comprises a core bit 9 wherein a bit 8 for drilling a material to be excavated A is provided to a tip part; a driving motor 3 for rotating a rotary shaft 11 to which the core bit 9 is connected; a support part 5 with which the driving motor 3 is slidably supported; and a transfer mechanism 6 wherein the driving motor 3 is transferred along the support part 5. The driving motor 3 is constituted of a cylindrical rotor integrated with the rotary shaft 11 through it, and a cylindrical stator to a periphery side of the rotor. The transfer mechanism 6 is constituted of a transferring motor 4 and a transmission mechanism comprising a transmission belt 107 for transferring rotary drive force of the transferring motor 4 to the driving motor 3 along the support part 5, and a ball screw 91. A clutch 105 for adjusting a torque to be transmitted to the driving motor 3 from the transferring motor 104 is provided to the transmission mechanism.
