<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decrease the number of receiving sheets at a receiving side for the number of sheets of transmitting original and besides to make parts wanted to be highlighted at the receiving side stand out. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor for transmitting and receiving image data is provided with: an extracting means for extracting data in a specified region specified in advance among the image data; a recognizing means for recognizing convertible regions into text data among the image data; a separating means for separating the image data into the text data and the image data on the basis of the result recognized by the recognizing means; a text size converting means for performing reducing conversion of the text data other than data in the specified region among the separated data; and a rearranging means for rearranging the text data and the image data that have been converted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
