COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION METHOD BY ADAPTIVE ARRAY ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system and communication method by an adaptive array antenna which can realize an SDMA (space division multiple access), even when the number of terminals is almost similar to the number of base stations.

SOLUTION: A base station b is provided with a terminal transmission element determining part 9 for determining the transmission antenna element of each terminal m, on the basis of a transmission speed requested by the terminal m and the amount of interference among respective terminals m. In addition, each terminal m is provided with a terminal transmission element selecting part 10 for selecting J (J is an integer that is ≥1 and ≤M) antenna elements among M (M is an integer that is ≥2) antenna elements, by receiving an instruction from the terminal transmission element determining part 9 of the base station b.
