<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cursor from moving widthwise when a user moves a paper feeding cassette in the direction of paper width with great force by a simple configuration never obstructing paper loading and paper feeding. <P>SOLUTION: The widthwise cursor 20 for positioning a paper sheet in the direction of width is provided inside a cassette frame 10. A lock piece 40 is rotatably supported in a face forming a right angle with the direction of paper width below the cursor widthwise 20. The lock piece 40 is energized in the direction of locking by an energizing means provided in its support shaft 41 part. An engaging hole 23 and a lock pin 42 are provided on a bottom face of the widthwise cursor 20 and an upper face of the lock piece 40, respectively, to lock the cursor 20 so that it is not displaced in the direction of paper width by inserting the lock pin 42 into the engaging hole 23. When pressing a release rod 50 provided on the cursor 20 downward, the lock piece 40 is displaced downward and moves to a lock release position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
