PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for a safety belt capable of securing the safety of a worker, easily attachable by utilizing the bolts on an existing slate roof, and capable of increasing the working area of the worker in a roof construction or a roof repair construction. SOLUTION: This support device for a safety belt comprises: a main member 1 formed in a generally L-shape in cross section by a bottom plate part 11 in which a plurality of bottom through holes 111 are longitudinally formed and rised plate parts 12 in which a plurality of through holes 12 are longitudinally formed; and auxiliary members 2. A generally square frame body is formed of two main members 1, 1 disposed generally parallel to each other and two auxiliary members 2, 2 disposed generally parallel to each other.
