In the image forming apparatus, a control part comprises: a data acquisition part for acquiring the print data; an analysis part for analyzing the print data and generating a display list; a rasterization part for generating a bit map image based on the display list; a low temperature fixation determination part for determining the fixation temperature of the fixation part; and a print control part for setting the fixation temperature of the fixation part on the basis of the determination result of the low temperature fixation determination part and giving instructions of printing. The low temperature fixation determination part comprises a main determination part for determining whether or not the low temperature fixation at the second setting temperature is possible on the basis of the bit map image transmitted to the printing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
