PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gypsum dehydration apparatus which can reduce ammonia odor of gypsum.SOLUTION: A gypsum dehydration apparatus 4 dehydrates gypsum slurry S to obtain gypsum C. The gypsum dehydration apparatus 4 includes: a dehydration part 11 having a belt filter 13 which includes a belt 17 having water permeability and transports the gypsum slurry S, and a vacuum pump 14 which sucks water content of the gypsum slurry S from a lower surface side 17b of the belt 17;and a cleaning part 12 which is located above the belt 17 and sprays washing water W onto the gypsum slurry S. The cleaning part 12 has: a plurality of feed parts 23 which are provided in a supply pipe 21 extended along a direction crossing a transportation direction D of the gypsum slurry S and which inject the washing water W upwards; a spray part 22 which is located above the plurality of feed parts 23 and receives the washing water W injected from the plurality of feed parts 23; and a dispersion part 27 which is provided in the spray part 22 and disperses the washing water W received by the spray part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
