PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system, capable of registering into a macro RAN base station or a home base station, when a mobile communication device locates within a range of the home base station.SOLUTION: A home base station can be an open access mode home base station, a closed access mode home base station or a hybrid access mode home base station. The home base station transmits information related to an access mode of the home base station to a gateway device, thereby enabling avoidance of unnecessary access control. The information can be signaled to a gateway device according to the presence or absence of an optional element of a registration request or the presence or absence of an entry within an essential element of the registration request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
