[Problem] To provide a piston having a piston ring and a cylinder mechanism for a variable capacity swash plate compressor, which, in order to reduce the amount of enclosed lubricating oil, make it possible to improve compressor efficiency by improving a sealing property during compression, to prevent tilting of a piston and to achieve blowby and moderate leakage of lubricating oil into a cylinder chamber. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a shaft that passes through a crank chamber inside a housing and is rotatably supported by the housing; a piston that moves back and forth inside a cylinder bore formed in the housing, in accordance with the rotation of the shaft; and a piston ring that is fitted into a piston ring groove formed in the substantially cylindrical circumference of the piston and that has an outer surface concavely curved in an axial direction. |
